- Before we get too excited about emailing Escom, we should think about a
- couple of things. First, a mass emailing does nothing except piss of the
- recipient! Second, while it appears a good idea on the surface, no company
- in it's right mind that is looking to EXPAND it base to NEW users will lay
- down and give in to the demands of something like this. A much better idea
- is to let those here who agree with you say why and let those who disagree
- say why and let Amiga Technologies make up their own minds on what they
- intend to do.

-
- Another problem here is that 'we' (collectively the 'user base') has NOT
- supported the Amiga the way you are thinking. How much money have you spent
- with both C= and with Amiga Technologies? I'm NOT asking how much you have
- spent on your Amiga computer in total ... how much have you payed to Amiga
- Technologies and C= in real dollars? That is the ONLY support you have
- given either of them. The rest of the money you've spent has supported
- third party developers. When we make 'demands' on a company, that company
- will guage the amount of real dollar support you have given vs it's
- interest in retaining your support.
-
- Just something to think about ...
